Wow, awesome job team! Check out this amazing 5-Star Review Laura wrote on Yelp!
"Going to a car lot is painful, it pisses me off just thinking about the stupid sales tactics most employ - with that said.....
I had a great experience here, the best car buying (leasing) experience I've ever had. Don was my initial sales guy, my husband called him, got pricing and told him I'd be in to test drive it. I drove it, loved it but decided I wanted to see a coupe, I told him to PLEASE try to be in the same ballpark because this is what I wanted. He came through, I told him exactly what I wanted (color, upholstery, features) and he found the car and got it on the lot. Keep in mind I hadn't given a deposit. He was going on vacation when I needed to pick up the car so he referred me to William who emailed me to introduce himself. He too was awesome! I didn't get the NAV package but William told me that the car was pre-wired and told me what I needed to buy to activate the Nav - he also told me to call him before I bought one because he may be able to get me one from a lease back - I found it on Amazon for $380 called him and he found one for me for $200.00 - I had it in 2 days and he installed it. I never felt "sold" or pressured or like I was dealing with someone who just graduated from Sales 101. Warm cookies, organic milk and coffee in the waiting room - that's a plus!" -- Laura G.Click HERE to read more customer reviews on Yelp!

Mercedes SLS AMG GT / C63 AMG Estate ensure safe F1 race
Providing safety at the Formula 1 races is not new for Mercedes-AMG, the performance brand of the German automaker. AMG has been ensuring safety at all Formula 1 races for the past 18 years by providing the Official F1 Safety Car and the Official F1 Medical Car. This year is no different and Mercedes-AMG will roll out the Mercedes SLS AMG GT as the official safety car and the C 63 AMG Estate will be the official F1 Medical Car. The new season started last weekend at the 2013 Formula 1 Rolex Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne, Australia.
How does Mercedes use the SLS AMG GT to ensure that the F1 race season will be the safest ever? This weekend in Malaysia, the two AMG cars will be deployed at the direction of Race Control officials when the weather or accidents are considered to have a direct impact on the safety of a race. The second race of the season will be the 2013 Petronas Malaysia Grand Prix and is taking place this weekend. Both cars will be on hand to provide safety and medical assistance when its needed. And both AMG sports cars can get there quickly if needed.
The SLS AMG GT gets quicker
The new 2013 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG got a new GT added to its name and comes with improvements to match. It gets an additional 20 horsepower and suspension improvements that have made a big difference. Peak horsepower is now 583 from the previous 563 with torque remaining at 479 lb. ft. Mercedes-AMG was able to achieve the additional horsepower through an increase in compression and internal dethrottling measures. Last year, the SLS AMG GT turned in a lap time on the Nurburgring of just under 7:30. That speed makes it the perfect sports car to provide safety for the F1 races.
The 6.3-liter V-8 is mated to a seven-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT dual-clutch transmission located on the rear axle that has been recalibrated for more direct shifts when in "M" manual mode. Engineers were able to develop a new gear change logic and optimized transmission control, to shorten the shift time required during shifts. The GT also gets a new AMG Adaptive Performance Suspension setup. The additional horsepower, alloy paddle shifters and suspension changes make it the quickest safety car AMG has ever produced. The car comes with a roof light bar which is the only visual difference between this car and one parked in a buyers garage.
The C 63 AMG Estate is one quick wagon
Mercedes-AMG also provides the Official F1 Medical Car and they use the C 63 AMG Estate and has been they car of choice since 2008. The power is supplied by a 6.3-liter V8 engine and delivers an output of 358 kW (487 hp). High performance is ensured by the variable coil-over suspension, the AMG high-performance braking system, AMG light-alloy wheels with 235/35 R19 performance tires (front) and 255/30 R19 (rear), the differential lock and 3-stage ESP.
The C 63 AMG Estate is ready at all times to ensure a rapid emergency response in the event of an accident on the track. The Medical Car follows the Formula 1 field during the initial lap, as the race cars are bunched closely together during this critical phase of the race.
The 485-liter luggage area of the high-performance Estate is loaded with emergency equipment, which includes a defibrillator and respiration apparatus along with all the medical gear needed in case of an accident. The sport wagon
also has the light bar on the roof, the FIA and F1 logos, the stroboscopic LED lights at the front and rear, and the rear number plate illuminated with LEDs and with "Medical Car" lettering.
18 years of Safety Cars and Medical Cars from Mercedes-AMG
Mercedes-AMG has extensive experience in the design, development and deployment of the Mercedes SLS AMG GT Official F1 Safety Car and C 63 AMG Estate Official F1 Medical Car. The Affalterbach-based Mercedes-AMG has been active in the top echelons of international motorsport since 1996.

Maintenance Tip of the Week
What are the most common causes of engine overheating?
Thermostat Stuck Shut
The thermostat, which is usually located in a housing where the upper radiator hose connects to the engine, controls the operating temperature of the engine. It does this by blocking the flow of coolant from the engine to the radiator until the engine reaches a certain temperature (usually 190 to 195 degrees F.). When this temperature is reached, the thermostat opens and allows coolant to circulate from the engine to the radiator.
If the thermostat fails to open, which can happen due to mechanical failure or if a steam pocket forms under the thermostat due to incomplete filling of the cooling system or coolant loss, no coolant will circulate between the engine and radiator, and the engine will quickly overheat.
You can check for this condition by carefully touching the upper radiator hose when the engine is first started and is warming up. If the upper radiator hose does not become hot to the touch within several minutes after starting the engine, it means the thermostat is probably defective and needs to be replaced.
CAUTION: The replacement thermostat should always have the same temperature rating as the original. Do not substitute a colder or hotter thermostat on any vehicle that has computerized engine controls as engine operating temperature affects the operation of the fuel, ignition and emissions control systems.
Defective Fan Clutch
On rear wheel drive vehicles with belt-driven cooling fan, a "fan clutch" is often used to improve fuel economy. The clutch is a viscous-coupling filled with silicone oil. The clutch allows the fan to slip at high speed, which reduces the parasitic horsepower drag on the engine. If the clutch slips too much, however, the fan may not turn fast enough to keep the engine cool.
The silicone fluid inside the clutch breaks down over time and can leak out due to wear, too. If you see oily streaks radiating outward on the clutch (and/or the fan can be spun by hand with little or no resistance when the engine is off), it means the clutch is bad and needs to be replaced. Any play or wobble in the fan due to wear in the clutch also signals the need for a new clutch.
Inoperative Fan Motor
On most front-wheel drive cars, the fan that cools the radiator is driven by an electric motor. A temperature switch or coolant sensor on the engine cycles the fan on and off as additional cooling is needed. If the temperature switch or coolant sensor (or the relay that routes power to the fan motor is bad), the fan won't come on when it is needed and the engine will overheat. Likewise, if the fan motor itself is bad, the fan won't work.
The system needs to be diagnosed to determine where the problem is so the correct component can be replaced.
External Coolant Leaks
Leaks in radiator or heater hoses, the water pump, radiator, heater core or engine freeze plugs can allow coolant to escape. No engine can tolerate the loss of coolant for very long, so it usually overheats as soon as a leak develops.
A visual inspection of the cooling system and engine will usually reveal where the coolant is going.
Leaks in hoses can only be fixed by replacing the hose. Leaks in the water pump also require replacing the pump. But leaks in a radiator, heater hose or freeze plug may sometimes respond to a sealer added to the cooling system.
Weak Or Leaky Radiator Cap
If no leaks are apparent, the radiator cap should be pressure tested to make sure it is holding the specified pressure. If the spring inside the cap is weak (or the cap is the wrong one for the application), the engine will lose coolant out the overflow tube every time it gets hot.
Internal Coolant Leak
If there are no visible coolant leaks, but the engine is using coolant, there may be a crack in the cylinder head or block, or a leaky head gasket that is allowing coolant to escape into the combustion chamber or crankcase.
See related question #16 for more information.
Exhaust Restriction
In some instances a severe exhaust restriction can produce enough backpressure to cause an engine to overheat. The most likely cause of the blockage would be a plugged catalytic converter or a crushed or damaged pipe. Checking intake vacuum and/or exhaust backpressure can diagnose this kind of problem.
Bad Water Pump
In a high mileage engine, the impeller that pumps the coolant through the engine inside the water pump may be so badly corroded that the blades are loose or eaten away. If such is the case, the pump must be replaced.
Most pump failures, however, occur at the pump shaft bearing and seal. After tens of thousands of miles of operation, the bearing and seal wear out. Coolant starts to leak out past the shaft seal, which may cause the engine to overheat due to the loss of coolant. A sealer additive will not stop this kind of leak. Replacing the water pump is the only cure.
CAUTION: A leaky water pump should be replaced without delay, not only to reduce the risk of engine overheating but to prevent catastrophic pump failure. If the shaft breaks on a rear-wheel drive vehicle, the fan may go forward and chew into the radiator ruining the radiator.

1954 Mercedes-Benz W196 Driven To Victory By Juan Manuel Fangio Up For Sale
It’s not clear who the current owner is, or why he or should would be mad enough to sell it, but it’s certain Mercedes-Benz will be keen to add the car to its own collection, along with a handful of multimillionaires.
Mercedes'' prewar Grand Prix cars had been supercharged. For their return to the top rank of motorsport, Mercedes decided to use a naturally aspirated 2.5-liter straight-eight engine, laid over at an angle to reduce frontal area. In the 1954 season the engine delivered around 257 horsepower.
This particular car bears chassis number 00006/54. In the 1954 German Grand Prix, held at the Nürburgring, it ran with open wheels for the first time, a move prompted by Fangio after he experienced some problems with the famous streamlined bodywork at the previous British Grand Prix. Designed for faster circuits, the streamlined body proved too tricky to place on twisty roads.
The changes proved successful, with the win helping Fangio secure one of his five world championship titles. Other W196 drivers included Hans Hermann, Karl Kling and Sir Stirling Moss. The car would also spawn the 1955 300 SLR, which Moss famously drove to victory in the Mille Miglia of that same year.
Pierre Levegh's horrific crash at Le Mans, also in '55, which took his life and that of 80 spectators, spelled the end of Mercedes' involvement in midcentury motorsport and the end of development of both the SLR and the W196. A Mercedes-branded F1 team would not emerge until the current squad’s debut in 2010.
The auction of the 1954 Mercedes-Benz W196 takes place on July 12 at the UK’s Goodwood Festival of Speed. It’s entirely possible that a new record for a car sold at auction could be set. The previous record, a figure falling somewhere between 30 and 40 million dollars, was set by this 1936 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic.

2014 Mercedes CLA Class appeals to a new generation
Mercedes knows they will have to reach a new generation of buyers as they move into the future and the new CLA is the answer. The new CLA Class is the vehicle that will launch Mercedes in that direction. Dr Joachim Schmidt, Member of the Management Board of Mercedes-Benz Cars, Sales and Marketing said, "We aim to reach new target groups with the CLA , including those who never intended driving a Mercedes."
Concept Style Coupe design gets put into production
The exterior and interior design is different than anything Mercedes has produced in the past. The CLA’s progressive sporty appearance is seen on the outside and also inside the cabin. Dr Dieter Zetsche, Chairman of the Board of Management at Daimler AG and Head of Mercedes-Benz Cars said in a recent interview, "We are transferring the expressive design of the Concept Style Coupe seamlessly into series production. With its unmistakable design idiom, I am convinced that the CLA will significantly form the Mercedes-Benz brand image."
Outside, the new CLA shapes a new Mercedes face and features the hood embedded in the front end with powerdomes and a diamond radiator grille. The light modules and LEDs behind the headlight covers have been arranged to create the characteristic "flare effect" for the daytime driving lights and indicators. The modern CLS design carries over to the CLA with three prominent lines that give structure to the vehicle when viewed from the side. The gently sloping roof contour and the pronounced, hallmark curvature of the rear window provides the CLA with a coupe-style character like the CLS.
Two equipment lines
The car's energetic and sporty appearance is continued inside the vehicle. The interior features two equipment lines, the “Urban” line and “AMG Line.” The emphasis is on silver in the Urban line and features trim elements in silver wave-look, with matching air outlet vents with nozzle ring and cross in silver chrome.
The emphasis for the AMG Line is on the color red. The red emphasis will show up in the contrasting topstitching on the sports seats, the multifunction sports steering wheel in nappa leather with flattened lower section, and the armrests. Matching these appointments, will be stainless steel sports pedals with rubber studs.
Electroplated trim elements inside
The cabin of the CLA pays attention to details with the instrument panel vents receiving a high-quality electroplated silver-chrome finish. The free-standing display screen features a black piano-lacquer-look front panel and, in combination with Comand Online a flush-fitting silver frame. The sporty character is seen with integral seats in the front and rear, and the rear bench seat emphasizes the outer seats (2+1‑seater). Colored contrasting stitching is available, according to the selected interior appointment options. A fibre-optic cable in the opening between head restraint and backrest is optionally available as part of the ambient lighting.
Production of the CLA started in January 2013 at the new production facilities in Kecskemet, Hungary. The new 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA Class is the first car to be built exclusively at the new plant. Mercedes builds the new CLA at a new production facility for a new generation of buyers. Look for the new CLA to be the beginning of a new design language for the German automaker.

Maintenance Tip of the Week
A cars engine generates enough heat to destroy itself. The cooling system protects against damage keeping the engine operating within the correct temperature range. Regular checks and maintenance help assure long life of vulnerable engine parts.
Here's what's involved in proper cooling system maintenance
Check condition of water pump
1. Inspect radiator for leaks, corrosion
2. Be sure you have plenty of coolant. Caution: never open or remove pressure cap when engine is hot
3. Look for leaking hoses and connections tighten loose clamps
4. Check condition of the radiator pressure cap replace if rubber gasket is damaged
5. If the engine runs too cool the thermostat is probably at fault and should be replaced
6. Inspect condition of hoses. Cracked, mushy or otherwise deteriorated hoses should be replaced
7. Heater hoses demand attention, too. Look for leaks, cracks, rotted rubber. Replace faulty clamps
8. Check belts for wear and tension. Replace when cracked or frayed. Usual life is about 4 years.

How could a lifted Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG be more awesome? Add an axle
We are fully confident in saying that this will be the most amazing thing you see all day. First of all, it's a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen – in AMG spec, no less. And it's being shown off in high-definition video glory, blasting through the desert, jumping over sand dunes, and generally being awesome. But here's the kicker: It has six wheels. Three axles. And they're all driven. Holy $%!#.
Under the hood is AMG's usual 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged V8, and total output is rated at 536 horsepower and 560 pound-feet of torque. That's impressive and all, but do keep in mind that the G63 6x6 weighs in at 8,322 pounds or, you know, the weight of two E-Class sedans. Combine that with its 18 inches of ground clearance, 37-inch tires and five locking differentials and you've got a vehicle capable of, well, everything you've ever imagined or will ever imagine for the rest of your life. But the goodness doesn't stop once you open the doors. Oh, no. This thing is fit for a king – or a sheik, more appropriately – with ultimately luxurious seating for four. The rear bench seat has been removed in favor of two bucket seats with a fixed console in the middle, and the rear seats have been moved back beyond the usual B pillar to allow for more legroom. According to Autoweek, the G63 AMG 6x6 will actually be for sale. Speaking to the magazine, the the head of G-Class development, Axel Harries, says that the off-road monster will likely be the second-most expensive Mercedes-Benz model, behind the $457,000 SLS Electric Drive. Right now, the automaker is looking to build maybe 20 or 30 units annually. If the apocalypse is indeed coming, we'll take one of these to ride out the storm.Courtesy of autoblog.com
